Adam Soper Guitar Lessons Newcastle

Guitar lessons with me are fun, friendly and informal, and I welcome new students of any age and any ability level.

Tuition is tailored to each individual student, from hobbyist to the professional player. I love teaching students’ favourite songs, introducing them to new music to learn, or preparing for graded instrument exams. I have a 100% pass rate for students sitting exams of all grades in both guitar and bass, with Rockschool, Trinity, and RGT exam boards.

I have extensive teaching experience of over 10 years, and have worked as a teacher for Newcastle University (as an Associate Lecturer in performance studies and composition alongside working as a guitar and song-writing tutor), Northumberland County Council (as a peripatetic guitar tutor), and the Rock Project Newcastle (as a guitar and bass tutor and session leader). I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (equivalent to a PGCHE). I am a registered guitar tutor with RSL and Trinity College London, and a member of the Independent Society of Musicians. As a professional musician, I have around fifteen years’ experience. I am fully DBS checked and hold Personal Liability Insurance.
